That ford is in mint shape.
I got a friend (yes a friend with a ford) that had one of these, but with the straight 6 (300CI), M/T, red, and the same ford rims.

This being GM truck club this picture is like (bad) porn. I'm sure this should draw some comments. but none the less, that foe-rad is a classic truck and the boys down at the ford club would be droolin'.

Well I haven’t been enjoying my truck the way I would like lately because I’ve been working it. We are hosting Thanksgiving, and so there is a list of household projects a mile long! So now my Yukon has become a tool and a workhorse instead of a toy.

I’ve redone the landscaping, replaced/refurbished front entry doors and hardware, caught 5 rabbits (that are eating my front lawn) and transported them, replaced the washer dryer, refrigerator and added a freezer to the garage. I’ve painted, planted and prepared so we can have a nice Thanksgiving and holiday season. I’m hoping to sit, smile and enjoy my handiwork, even if one of my craziest relatives does something crazy (which has already started).

I'm getting tired just thinking about doing all that work. Lol i would transport those bunnies to my belly or at least my freezer. Mmmmmm we love rabbit here, we raise them and i hunt them.

Well not much to add... i haven't done much work on either truck, sierra is still not on the road but im still tinkering with it. The other day i rewired the cargo lights so it has its own switch independent of the interior lights, with the projector lenses leds it lights up the bed perfect and a large area behind the truck, its amazing how 2 tiny lights can be so bright. The oem cargo light switch even lights up when the light is on instead of lit up with the dash lights.... COOL SHYT! So i still have the other circuit completely intact and simply cut at the 3rd brake light... I'm probably going to solder a couple leds to leads and just tuck them up inside the light to function as intended with the interior lights. So it took me a few tries to complete this with the oem wiring but its all tied to the interiors and would light them all up, i could not find the schematic for this so i snaked a wire through to get r done.

Hopefully I'll get to enjoy this truck on the road soon.... we just don't have the extra money to get r done. Depressing.

Anyways...

CHEERS and keep on keeping on trucking!

Still dealing with that hard start code making issue. P1351 I think. It starts every time, but about half the time it dies and gives me the code, then it'll take 2-3 try's to get her to stay running. I just haven't had time to even try to figure it out. Along with that, every so often I get the Security light flashing no start. It's getting annoying enough I think Sanity's Christmas present will be a Black Bear tune on her computer to delete Passlock, rear O2's, Egr, tire calibration to 285/75. Anything else I should have them add or remove to that tune?

I did get the new snow plow assembled and attached to the 4 wheeler this weekend. I'm hoping Murphys law will prevail. Since I'm ready to push snow, we won't get any this winter!

I enjoyed a nice smooth ride into work this morning on my new Cooper Discovery HTPs, big improvement over the KO2s that came on the truck. Also did transmission and differential service this weekend, so after next weekends coolant flush all my 100k mile maintenance will be complete :)

Finally got some time to myself and spent it putting two coats of carnuba wax on my Yukon while drinking Pabst blue ribbon and listening to the radio in my garage. Took all day, and I enjoyed every minute of it - a great day.

Maiden voyage of our Yukon with “the big unit” travel trailer (named by my wife who knows big units :D). This is Santee Lakes Recreation Preserve outside San Diego.

Today, for some reason, power wasn't getting to the truck, even though both leads of both batteries were well plugged in. Just a slight annoyance and taking the leads off and screwing them back on solved the issue.

Still doing this in a parking lot in the dark at -30C kind of pissed me off :p

So today I did not enjoy my truck much :p

I filled up today at lunch, which is not typically enjoyable, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that I have been getting 3 more MPG then previous average. The flip side of that coin is the mpg increase is due to a work promotion that has taken my daily commute from 30 miles a day to 80 miles

Drove it to work due to an epic storm. Because I had the truck, I was able to do a favor which allowed me to get out early. The truck got me home safe in one of the worst storms I’ve ever seen here. In fact I’ve never seen more rain here than this season...ever

After purchasing my wife a gorgeous Tahoe for Valentine's day, we skipped the "official" Valentine's day (I.E. crowd) and we are celebrating today. Heading out to Bentley's on 27 for a window seat dinner, then darting off to go see Sarah McLachlan.

The little one will be at home with Nana, so it will be nice to enjoy an evening on the town, kid-less in her new ride.
