I paid $3.12/gallon in Arlington, Texas for gas! What are other people here paying?

Yeah, it's come down a bit since I posted that. I think I paid about $2.30 for it again in Arlington earlier this week.

I'll admit. I don't mind paying the $2.30 here locally. I should! I could kick myself, becuase it was $1.25 3 years ago. However, it's better than paying $3.25 like I had to pay back in September. That sucked, that's all there is to it.

Well, they hit $2.80/gallon the other day! Anyone seen $3.00/gallon yet?

I feel like taking a paper bag along with me to capture any of the gas vapors!

Well, they're expecting that we'll be over $3.00 by the weekend here in North Texas.

$2.99 at the local 7-11.

I remember during the mid to late 90's there was a gas war in the Tri-Cities. Gas dropped to about $.89/gallon at all of the ARCOs and it was starting to drive some of the other gas companies out of the area.

I spent some time there between 97 and 98 off and on. Believe it or not, it's a lot like the Dallas/Fort Worth area during the summer, except that it cools off at night up there and it doesn't down here. :)
