Hey guys,

I can't figure out how to remove the stock bow tie from my grill? I bought an aftermarket billet one on ebay and want to install it but can't figure it out. Anybody have pics or can explain how to remove it? I have a 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500.

Thanks!

You will need a very small flat head screw driver to release it. On the inside of the grille shell, the bowtie is held in place by two tiny little tabs. Take the flat head and push it in between the rectangular portions of the emblem that you see behind the grille shell and the grill shell itself. Push in and out toward you. It will pop right off.
