I'm trying to remove the airbox on my 1998 Suburban 2wd 5.7 1/2 ton.
I need to remove it to get aT A BROKEN HEATER TRIPLE CONNECTOR.
The airbox seems to be held down by some sort of plastic connector that forms a "point".like a very stubby 4 blade arrow head
I usually end up breaking these non intuitive connectors-AND END UP WITH A PERMANENT RATTLE!!?
How do I not break this one?
Thanks
Charlie
PS I GOT IT OFF-YOU PUSH IT TOWARD THE CENTER OF THE ENGINE BAY-THEN LIFT UP.
It was a royal PIT BUTT to replace the T-fitting.The b carefully fished out piece by piece so it wouldn't plug the cooling system-
to change a simple T fitting it took 45 minute
and thoseSOBing squeeze type hose clamps were as much fun as they usually are!!
