Looks like a bumpstop, probably for a rear coil. You can safely leave it out.

Yes, it does. I agree that it looks more like the rear, because the front stops are not that big Also, the front ones are more wedge shaped. Buy a new pair and have them installed with your next set of shocks.

yes I did, after Crawdaddy told me , I checked underneath and found that missing spot ~and another one is still there ~~pls see the pic~~
