I picked a Hypertech max energy on craigslist for 100.00 just to see what it was about....its pretty cut and dry....

It doesnt get to involved on my 2008 Sierra's shift points....it just asks if you want to firm them up - YES or NO. Pretty much everything is Yes or No except gear ratio,Tire Size and REV limiter. Unless you have changed your gears leave it stock. You can set the rev limiter where you want it or remove it.

i have one for my 2000 silverado too
all i got was the choice between regular or super fuel
top speed limiter
rev limiter
change shift point
increase shift firmness, yes or no
adjust speedometer for tire size
adjust gear ratio
for $300.00+ dollars i expected there would actually be a tune involved in this but i guess its kinda straight to the point and the only thing actually noticeable and useful in it is the gear ratio since i changed mine and the top speed limiter and the shift firmness, didnt really notice any power difference
