A few years ago I had a 1999 Suburban LT. I had sold it but now would like to get an early 2000 one. Is there anything that I should be cautious about when looking for this newer model? I am looking for a LS or LT with the 5.3 L. I will be moving from Pennsylvania to Alaska with it and would like to know what to have thourghly checked before I go. Any help would be great. Thank You. Just the usual suspects: Leaky intake seals, 4wd selector (if you opt for 4wd) switches, knobs etc. As with all used vehicles, a carfax report and go over the exterior looking for sagging doors, misaligned panels. Hold out for a low mileage unit with 80k miles or less.
