I can tell you this, same as lifting as far as, you need to know your expected clearance... And you will need to find a solution for your speedometer... As far as can you put a smaller tire on a 17" rim, sure...your issues will be, at least what I just stated, maybe there are others...I'm sure someone else here has slammed their truck. Just hang tight, get your expected clearance while you are at it. Then you will know what size you need. It would really help if you posted year/make/model of your truck.

Again, this is backwards to me, there may be someone who knows much more around later. Its all in theory to me, no real experience here....I may be missing something. Also, mostly you are checking diameter... Just click the virtualization button at the bottom of the calc...should help you see what you need to measure.

Juanhd how to on truck info...so its not forgotten. "The best way to always provide that info even if you forget is to put your truck info in a sig (signature). The info will then be placed at the end of every post you make. You might think since you put the info into a post or two you're covered but we can't remember what every member drives the details of his truck.

Just go to your profile page and put the info into the signature. You won't ever make another help me post with no truck details."

I copied this from the same post I just recently learned it in...thought it would help you too Juan. Credit goes to xPosTech...thanks again.
