I just purchased a192 Sonoma 4.3 5 speed. The lights on the left side of the instrument cluster wern't working, and the odometer gears were broken. I purchased a used cluster and it dn't work, so I returned it and bought another.
I'm getting power to the cluster connecting pins, but the second cluster I purchased isn't lighting up either.
I replaced the radio with an after markewt 7018 touchscreen. I'm wondering if there is some connection between the radio and the cluster not working.
Any ideas? I don't have a clue what it could be.

It's like changing a light bulb when the problem is a loose connection; no matter how many times you change the bulb, it isn't going to work.

Did the lights work before you changed the radio?

Does the light on the radio work?
