I have a 95 1500 and the interior lights don’t come on when the drivers side door is open or when you use the dimmer switch, the door chime still works and the passenger door turns on the lights , the dimmer switch still dims the dash

any ideas? door jamb switch?

Well, you could have 2 problems.

Does your truck have jam switches that you can see?

Jam switches are in the door posts, where the hinges are

Actually, Ray, on the ‘95’s they’re on the sides of the dash. There’s a button on the door card that lines up with the switch plunger.

Yes, Johny, the jamb switch is probably defective. Be careful pulling the old one out. The dash is brittle and you could break the hole open so far that the switch won’t be held in place.
