Hey guys,

my 1997 k1500 with the 6.5L TD is having an issue. For some reason last thursday It wouldn't start. tried everything I could to figure it out, bled the line, checked for air, checked fuel pump everything.

Lots of fuel getting to top of the motor. I took it to my mechanic, he changed the PMD controller, now he thinks its the optical sensor... I can't afford to keep dumping money into expensive parts here... any suggestions? I just blew 2100 on the brakes last week.

Did you check the glowplugs? Those engines won't start without a working glowplug system with good glowplugs...
