Subthump.com makes a variety of good quality boxes for mounting subs under your seat. What type of cab do you have? (Regular, Extended, Crew etc...)

i have 2 12's in my 2000 silverado, it wouldnt make sense for them not to fit in an 08. the freakin body on the 08 is huge.

I was told the same thing, I've got a pretty decent sound system in there now but REALLY want to put at lease one 10" sub in there.

Can anybody recommend a specific Subwoofer, Amp, and Box to either fit Underneath either seat OR behind the seat?

On my 08 Sierra I had two 8" Kicker L7's in a ported box under that seat that sounded really good. I had the amps mounted to the back wall of the cab. I have not heard any of the shallow mount subs or the subthump box so I cant comment on those.

I have seen guys with 2 tens or twelves in both sealed and ported boxes under the seats and they sound ok but your never getting the full potential of the subs because you cant get max air space.

If its just for your listening enjoyment that kind of setup will work.

After a couple of years I bit the bullet and went with a blow through set up...........now air space isnt an issue!

Yeah your best bet is too get some 2 10's and mount them under the seat in a custom made box. I had the same sub's 2 Kicker competition 12's but i had mine in a super pro bass box that took up my whole back seat. This setup got old and i sold my whole system. I was actually thinking about just getting 2 10's in a custom made box a guy has a magazine he can order to fir in my truck i think it was about $150 i believe but it's made specifically for your year, make, and model hope this helps. The amp i would go with a rockford fosgate 1,000 watt amp they are known to push more power than other amp's i've heard.
