Got a new 2011 Silverado 4WD LT Crew Cab. I struggled with what color to get. I know its tought to keep clean, but ended up going with black. I got the Z71 Appearance Package, and I think the black front grill looks real good on the black truck. love the front end of this truck. Also got the Black Leather bucket seats.
I think the electric sliding rear window is cool too.

Congrats! Truck looks great I never had that hard of a time with my old black truck, I just washed it when it got dirty...I have found that Silver and gun-metal grey are great for hiding dirt..I too prefer leather interior, however I didn't get it in my current truck... next one though ; ) congrats again!

Nice looking truck, Congrats. I also have a black LT, but I do not have the appearance package. So I have a chrome grille. This is my first black vehicle in quite a while. Like MoBillyAla said, when it gets dirty, you just have to clean it again. When clean, the black is one of the sharpest colors for a vehicle.

Congrats on the new truck! Ended up with black myself. I wanted to stay away from leather (triple digit summers + black paint = easy bake truckin). I don't clean my truck as often as I should (can't wait to move away from the humidity and pollen, dust is SO much easier to wipe off), but when I do she does shine somethin fierce!

yeah Drake I'm with you. You know the one thing that makes black leather in a black truck more bearable is that remote starter. Get that AC runnin for 10 or 15 minutes before you get in the truck - colls it down nicely.

I spent the weekend kinda getting use to the new truck. I REALLY like that electric sliding rear window. Its amazing when you open that thing the amount of cool air flow you get in that truck.

Ordered a set of Black Westin Signature Nerf Bars too. I am not too "handy" - hope I can figure out how to put them on.

LOL, some of my colder weather friends couldn't understand why I needed on a remote start on my truck. "You're moving to the desert" they said, "it doesn't get that cold there" they said. "Yeah, but it sure as hell gets hot! And remote start works just as well with the A/C!". <-- WIN
