I have a 89 C1500 with a 5.7 liter. I went out to crank it this morning for it to warm up. I went inside to get my stuff togather came back out and the truck had went dead. When I went to crank it it did nothing even the lights don't work. I checked the battery and it shows voltage. If I could get some ideas it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I found the problem today loose ground on fender going to battery. Thanks for the help!
Just thought I had it fixed!!! I went to the hunting club today because I thought my battery needed a charge come to find out its good. Thought it might be the starter its good. When I go to crank it all it does is click click. My light under the hood goes dead. I turned the harmonic balance not easily because I thought maybe it is locked up. Should it be hard to turn with a cheater bar? I'm about ready to throw in the towel and burn it or take it to a shop! Anyone have any ideas?
I did put another battery and starter in truck didn't check voltage though. The thing that has me puzzled is i turn harmonic balancer some then it will move ever so slightly maybe that on the exhaust end of valve?
It was the ground wire going to the engine block also. Thanks for the help guys much appreciated!!!!
