Just went dead.....

I have a 89 C1500 with a 5.7 liter. I went out to crank it this morning for it to warm up. I went inside to get my stuff togather came back out and the truck had went dead. When I went to crank it it did nothing even the lights don't work. I checked the battery and it shows voltage. If I could get some ideas it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

put the ground wire off the meter to somwhere on the engine block where theres bare metal and see if you have 12volts there. If you do you may have a bad ground going from the engine to the battery.

From burn it down or take it in!!! Really cool!!
