I've read several posts where people have said that they have the 63 series K&N intake, but when I put my truck info into K&N's website the only intakes it shows are the FIPK and 77 series. Do they not make the 63 series for my truck (truck info in signature), or do they just neglect to metion it? If the 63 is available for my truck, which do yall think is better...the 63 or the FIPK? Thanks in advance for the info!

I researched the 66 on the Summit Racing website it shows applications for 2 and 4-barrel carbs so that would not work. As far as the FIPK and the 77, they will both work for your application and the FIPK shows more HP gains than the 77 (11+ compared to 8+).

The 63 series is basically the FIPK but it's not carb certified yet. It's is basically the same thing just a newer version. They don't make the FIPK for newer GM trucks at all. The 77 series offers less hp because of it's polished metal intake tube. It gets hotter then the plastic, so less power.

63 series is for the 4.3 V6.
