Hi names jesse I've got a 95 ext. Cab cheyenne with a 4.3l vortec and the 4l60e. Just had my transmission replaced and got it back last Thursday night after a long battle with tracking parts . Had to replace the dipstick tube which I recently discovered was discontinued so I ordered on for a 95 and down 4l60e which supposedly fit and not the truck is leaking fluid like crazy. Can someone tell me or show me a picture of how it is supposed to be affixed to the transmission so I know if it was installed correctly or not

Some had an o ring on the dip tube and some used a longer grommet type of seal. The Grommet type is best inserted part way up the tube and then the whole tube and grommet is inserted into the trans until seated. Lube it with tranny fluid first.

It turns out my lines were falling apart and I need a couple of seals like trans pan and speed sensor I think
