Can a 2009 Silverado 1500 with a V6 handle a 4" lift?????

Yep, but I assume you will be installing taller tires so you May want to regear. Alot of V-6 trucks come with 4.10/4.11 gears which with a 32/33" tire will help with power. Look in your glove box for these numbers, GT5 = 4.10 gears, GU6= 3.42 gears.

I would detterman what gears you have first because if you have 3.42, 3.23 or 3.08 gears you would want to regear with the taller tires. If your truck is 4x4 than you have to regear front and rear.This is a added expense to think about.
