Hey guys a bud at work just got a 2008 silverado 2500hd crewcab lt he wants to put on a set of 20 inch rims can he get away with a leveling kit or will he have to go with a lift kit all the way around.
He should be okay as long as the rim isn't over a 20x10 but i would be more comfortable and everyone would to play it say and go with a 20x9. I would go with a 20x9 0 Offset and 33 12.50. Idk he might be able to fit one bigger being the HD's sit up higher than the 1500's he might could get away with a 35 but might have to be narrow... Let us know the rim and tire size.Hey guys a bud at work just got a 2008 silverado 2500hd crewcab lt he wants to put on a set of 20 inch rims can he get away with a leveling kit or will he have to go with a lift kit all the way around.
Tell your buddy to get a 325/60/20 which is a 33 13.50 it should work out good. Well atleast i know in cooper stt's its a 33 13.50 might be a lil smaller in other name brands. Either way a 33 12.50 he should be fine with a 2.25 inch readylift leveling kit!Ok guys thanks for all the help ill let him know to see what route he wants to take
325/60/20 = 35.35 x 12.8. And there is no way a 33x12.50 is going to fit on a 10 wide wheel with just leveling...even on an HD. It would require a good bit of fender modification.Tell your buddy to get a 325/60/20 which is a 33 13.50 it should work out good.
