Ok call me anal but I was looking at the truck pictures on the Tuff Country website and came across this 4" lifted red truck. The fender gap on the front looks pretty even with the rear. I have the same truck/ same lift but i have over a 2" difference in fender gap on the front. I really like the level look and was wondering if Les Scwhab possibly left the front a little lower at the customers request ( i bought the truck lifted) If so can I possibly crank the t-bars to level my front end out without putting a lot of stress on the bars.

its strange that yours is raked in the front as most 4" lifts I have seen are a 4-6 combination so that the front sits level
you should able to crank them no problem.... I'd say an inch and a half.... your lift has a new subframe up front correct?
I'd have to agree, as long as you're not really cranking them down you should be all set. If you do crank the bars you probably want to get an alignment afterwards.
Do it right and you won't sacrifice ride comfort. Go with a leveling kit (keys) and as always, align afterwards!
My thought was that the t bars were possibly left unsprung a little more than usual to maintain the chevy rake and that cranking them to level without new key's would be acceptable since the 4'' tuff country kit doesnt require new keys and all the pictures i have found the truck seems to sit level.
I was at Schwab's yesterday (where I will also be getting a 4" lift from) and all their pictures and brochures of the TC lifted vehicles, there is no rake. Here is the online brochure. I suggest you take it to your nearest Les Scwab's and ask them. Advice is free.
AHHH Schwabbies.....I love and hate that store. Funny thing is that Phil Wick the CEO of Les Schwabs is my uncle in law. Do you think I get any discounts......hell no!! Oh well I 'll go ask them anyway. Thanks for the Advice as usual

You would think that you would at least get some free beef out of the deal:lol:
Good luck with your lift questions.
