every morning I start my truck I hear a ticking that gets more rapid when I accelerate but disappears after driving a few minutes. could be something other then the lifters making this noise? I have put sea foam in the crank case and drove it for a few hundred miles to clean everything out and hopefully stop my lifter tick that comes up every now and then. I recently changed my oil and put synthetic in with marvel mystery oil in it as mentioned here on the forum but I still have the problem :grrrrrr:. is there anything I can do short of cutting her open and shooting cleaner into the lifter it self?
