I can tell with my exhaust, I just ignore it.Thats what ive heard:neutral:...i dont like the way it changes tone from 8 to 4 going down the highway...with my exhaust you can totally tell
You heard wrong. The engineers that designed the system to get MPGs.Im curious how the truck will run with AFM off...i cant wait for my exhaust to sound normal now (sounds like a 4cyl on steroids when AFM is on)...ive heard i could gain a few mpg's with it off?
Well ive been looking for one for a week or so to delete AFM...bought this NEW in box on ebay for 110 bucks today!...i didnt need anything fancy, just wanted to delete AFM and maybe tranny shift points so its more driveable

uhhhh, not really....You heard wrong. The engineers that designed the system to get MPGs.
you can NOT adjust any tcm/tranny settings with a predator... you can not change anything like shift pressure, shift points, tranny torque management, etc etc... predator's never had tcm/tranny support for 2007+ vehicles...
plus, all predators are dead and gone - they were all discontinued about 1.5 years ago now...
for tcm/tranny support, plus newer updated tune files, easier data logging, more parameters available for custom tuning, etc etc - you would need to get a diablosport inTune or Trinity...
you won't be able to do anything for the tranny, etc with the predator....
so yeah, just an fyi...

uhhhh, not really....
myself, as well as several hundreds/thousands of others, get better mileage with it disabled/off... the DOD/AFM only helps you if you do a LOT of highway driving, all the time... I gained 2 mpg just by disabling the DOD, and so have many many many others...
if you do more town/city driving than highway driving, then it doesn't help and it actually hurts... plus there's the whole oil burning issue that it causes every time it switches between 4/8 cyl. modes, which was even confirmed by GM in a technical service bulletin...
so no, DOD/AFM does NOT always help you... plus disabling it helps to improve throttle response....
Thats the 2 things i wanted it to do...change tire size and AFM delete...87 octane tune a pretty decent tune(just wondering)?the site lied... they probably just copied that from a different model predator's description and use it for all of their predator descriptions heh...
there is no tcm/tranny support at all with the U7194 model predator....
as for other things they say about it that are wrong:
yes you can adjust the tire size and gear ratio to correct/calibrate the speedometer...
it does not log for 30 minutes... it will record a log for 3-5 minutes....
it has an 87 octane tune, and a Diablo Tune - the diablo tune is made for 91 octane gas...
and hp/tq increases are not up to 30, heh...
on 87 octane with 87 tune, you'll gain about 13-16 hp/tq
on 91+ octane and diablo tune, you'll gain about 20 hp/tq...
If you are doing a lot of non-highway driving, the engine should rarely go into V4.uhhhh, not really....
