I have a 2011 silverado that the battery drained down overnight due to unknown condition,
I went to auto start it this morning without knowing battery had drained.
Truck did not start Of course, I got my booster jumper that I carry and hook it up , power it on and the truck started right up
But...................
Now I have no A/C Blower or heat blower null nothing nada.
I look at fuses in engine bay, and the 2 blower fuses look OK did not test them.
Then I disconnected the battery for a few mins to try and reset
Re connect battery and took truck for ride, truck ran good just no blower (did notice that my outdoor temp meter had dropped to 55 degs F
While driving on a short trip I than noticed that my Brake Assist for my trailer trouble lite came on (this never happened before)
Then when I arrived home I tried to shut the truck down turned key to off position and nothing the truck kept running (once again this never happened before).
So I then turn key back to the crank position and turned it all the way as if to start the starter.
Then turned it off again This time she shut down, only to notice my reverse lights were now lite and staying on with no key in the ignition.
I then restarted the truck and once again shut it down and everything worked like it should except I have no Blower Fan.
Its 90degs here andI need to get it fixed
I really hate to take it to dealer
Does anyone have a clue?
Possibly the blower resistor, or fan itself Is there a test port I can tie into without droping the fan?
Any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated
Thank You
