This is my first post on this forum, but have used others for my Ford truck so looking forward to your responses. I have an 02 1500 Suburban and it has been making a noise for a while at about 1500 rpms. It has recently started doing it more frequenlty. It lnly makes the noise when it is hot not during the cold months, which in FL is not long. If anyone has experienced this and can guide me down the right path, your help is greatly needed. The best explaination of the noise is a piece of sheet metal flapping in a fierce wind.

Looking forward to your feedback.

It sounds like you may have an issue with the AC belt tensioner (different from the main belt) or in the AC clutching as well. I would start in that area.
