How do I get the mirror in my '97 to show the temp readout in the compass window?

Are you sure you have a mirror that supports it? There's mirrors that give the compass reading, but do not give the temp.

I know that if I hold the "comp" button down, the display lights up all the LEDs and there are ones there to support temp. How do I tell if it supports temp?
