Here is a pic of the 350 in my 93 K1500, what 'hole' are you describing?

The one with the tube coming out of it in the back there.

I will take it in for a tune up ASAP. As far as the breather goes, how much are they and is it doing anything to the engine if it is not there?

After some checking around for prices... I have decided to go ahead and change out the plugs and wires myself. I have done it on other cars I have owned and after looking at it, it looks to be pretty easy on a burban (lotta room in there).

I am also going to do the distributor cap, I am wondering if there are any "traps" to watch out for as I haven't changed one of those before. Will I have to adjust timing or anything? If so, how?
