Hey guys, its been awhile since I've done anything to my truck so I'm starting to get that itch again. My thoughts are to add some black mods but I'm not sure how they would look on a grey truck. I'm thinking about smoked headlight and taillight covers, blackout bowties, and a billet grill. And possibly new wheels when tax returns roll around (either black or machined metal), whichever looks better after the above is done. I would love everyones opinion cause I'm just not sure how well black and grey would compliment each other. Thanks in advance!

I think that the black and grey will go great together, personally. In my opinion, black goes well with any color. Plus, I'm much more of a black accessories kind of guy than I am for chrome. And sometimes color matching just looks like too much to me. So I'd definitely give it a go!

Black will look awesome with your truck. The only thing is, to pull it off and not have it looked all mixed and matched, you need to colormatch your chrome parts. Having black wheels, black tails, bowties, etc. looks great but not if you still have your chrome grille/bumpers.

I agree with this 100% - especially on a grey truck. If you have a grey truck with black accents but chrome in between, I personally don't care for that. If you colormatch all of the chrome that you aren't changing to black, then it will look really good with the grey.

x2 on black looking good with anything and making sure you do the right amount of black. My project (when the money is available) is to black-out both bumpers, the grille-assembly, get some fender-flares and keep em black and black rims with a little chrome in them; will match my chrome door handles, gas cover, and chrome grille bow tie. Look at blackout07's truck, it's pure sex blacked-out!

I appreciate all of the opinions fellas. I'm going to start pricing some stuff. If I had it my way, I would have just bought a black truck to begin with, but I just couldn't pass up the deal I got on this one.

Blackout- That is a sexy truck!
