I have a 2008 silverado with the chrome front end and I wanted to paint the front end the same color as the truck.Is it possible for a body shop to paint that or do I need to buy a grille that is paintable?

A GOOD body shop can paint the chrome front end.

yeah I wasnt sure if I could buy a paintable front end...just curious.

If its just the plastic chrome parts it not to bad....they can strip that off pretty easy. If its the bumper you may find its cheaper to buy the bumper ready to paint.
