I posted a few days ago about an issue with my blinkers stopping when brakes are applied after replacing my multifunction switch. I have since realized that both tail lights flash when I turn on either blinker. I believe this must be another indication of the problem. The indicator on the cluster shows that only one side is flashing, but both rear tail lights (not front) are flashing, as if my hazards are on, even though only my blinker is on. When I hit the brakes, I hear a very brief buzz when the lights stop flashing. As soon as I let off the brakes, they resume flashing. Any help is appreciated.

Are you sure you have the correct multifunction switch?
