just bought a 2001 2500 HD 8.1L with allison was doing great today tell my coolant started dripping out of water pump, after i change that and refill system is there any bleeder screws on a 8.1L i hard there are but never found any?

Not that i know of i believe it is the same system where you just have to refil and leave the cap off as you do...

yeah i was figuring it was just like my 5.3L truck i was wondering that because after i filled the system i have a low coolant light now and with the jug full its still saying its low

Sounds like the in tank sensor is stuck.

Welcome to the club. If you have a slight incline where you live, park it with the radiator cap uphill if you can. This will help the air to bleed out with the rad cap off.
