So far I've only found one kit for lowering a 4x4 Yukon XL (or Suburban) and it's offered by McGaughy. I know lowering a 4x4 is not traditional, but I'd like to get it lower for a better look, better handling, and perhaps better gas mileage. I'm not looking for a major drop...2 inches up front and 4 out back to make it level, etc.

1. Can I drop my truck this much without hurting it's 4x4 capabilities? I'm not willing to make this modification if it's going to compromise the functionality of the four wheel drive.

2. If so, what are some options besides McGaughy? I like DJM stuff, but it doesn't appear that they have a kit for my truck.

Thoughts?
