Hey all! I've managed to find a really nice K1500 that is in general clean and well maintained. There's just two small issues with the doors and could use some advice:
The power lock switches all seem to work. However, they seems to not be able to move the locks. Manipulating them by hand I feel a bit of resistance. I do have replacement interior handles that came with the truck but I was wondering if there was anything I should be looking for.
The power window on the passenger side seems jammed. The motor actuates and rolls it down maybe a quarter of the way before stopping in place. I can roll it up again just fine. Considering I'm re-doing the door handles, should I be getting a window regulator or is there a common problem that I'm not aware of?

It sounds like rust, rust in the window channel and maybe the gears.
And for the locks, rust on any of the mechanical joints.

You should be able to see it if you remove the inner door panel.

Pick up some white lithium grease when you get the door panels off. As you look inside, notice the flex control support points for the operate rod and the lock rod. They should be degreased and then apply new white lithium.
