Hi Guys I'm new to the truck game as well (2007 Chevy Suburban 4x4), have not really done any work on cars before.
I was also looking to increase HP and fuel economy.
After reading a bunch of posts on here and other sites it looks like the this is the best route.
I was taking a look at getting the:
Hypertech Max Energy Programmer
I'm going with this because it also allows me to set my speedometer with my new wheels I plan to get.
But I'm up in the air when it comes to the air filter. I've been looking at the following company. Keep in mind gas economy is my first priority and HP off the line is my second.

Volant
AFE
Could I get feedback on which one people think I should go with?
Also would I notice a difference in power and fuel economy by adding an exaust out the back?
