Have you talked to the shop that did the refurb of the cluster? Have you double checked the connectors on the cluster?

Kings X. I just reread your first post. You mean the cluster is doing the same thing it did before the refurb?

Give me a little history of the truck. Did you buy it new or used? How long have you had it and has anything electrical been replaced?

Yes doing the same as before, its an o5 yukon xl1500 bought this july from a dealership with 193000 on it in o7 it was involved in front end colition and a rear end in 09 acording to the carfax ,the only problems ive had since bought was a tpm sensor and a rear a/c line leak truck runs and drives great untill acouple of days ago after the 30 below days i started truck and volt gage didnt move drove to gas station restarted and was reading 14 drove to a freinds and gage didnt drop from14 after shutting off when i re started it pegged on the way home is when the temp gauge pegged and serched the problem on line and all i could find was that it was the stepper motors so had them replaced and resisters for the display re solderd because you couldnt see the prnd321 and its still doing the same thing as before

Check the dash ground near the OBD connector. Also the ground from the battery to the fender, the firewall and the frame. There's another ground near the thermostat housing for the PCM.

Sucio the cluster was doing the same thing before it was refurbished. And probably easier to swap BCM with a like truck.

The Body Control Module. Let us know how the cluster works out.
