I just bought a new 2008 Chevy Silveraro extended cab LTZ Z71.

I was just wondering if there is anything I need to know about this truck that some of you have learned since buying one. Any mods that improve the vehicle or things to watch out for?

Well I've got the 4.8 in my 07 and I noticed an almost 3mpg gain with my hypertech max engergy programmer.

What did you change with the programmer to get that kind of gain? Inquiring minds need to know with gas at $3.50 a gallon and climbing!

intake (I prefer K&N but there are others out there), and exhaust/headers are always good (Flowmaster, edelbrock, magnaflow, etc)
