hi guys I have a gmc sierra 2005 z71, gauges acting up so I got a kit and installed the new stepper motors myself. The problem is each time you cut the ignition off- it doesnt back off the gauges so the zero point, it is increased each time you cut off the switch and then cut it on. My fear is that maybe there is a voltage regulator on the circuit board somewhere that cant bought unless I get a whole new panel. 48.00 in so far in the kit- any ideas?

I feel your pain, I'm in a very similar situation in my 03' Suburban. However I have battery drain issue coming from the cluster. I as well replaced the stepper motors this weekend, with no improvement. I might need to fork out the money for a new/refurbished cluster...
