ive got a black 1500 silverado, that im trying to black out. but i cant find a grille shell/grille assembly that comes in black. anyone know if thats a part i got get custom done? can i get the part and do it myself? purchase it online? ive been looking around and im striking out. any info will help. thanks.

Is yours a NBS or NNBS? If it is an NNBS, I know you can get a black grill for a WT model. You can get it through GMPartsdirect.com. I took my chrome grill to a local body shop. They prepped and painted for about 100 bucks. The WT grill is the same texture as your mirrors and handles (that rough plastic). I did not care for that so thats why I had mine painted. Welcome by the way.
