I swapped out my dull 3156 factory reverse lamps for a pair of putco 360 degree LED's some time ago. But My cab rear window is tinted real dark so backing up is difficult period at night. However since ive had these bulbs their look has always been awesome, the white with a blue tint. I decided to spend 8 bucks for a pair of silverstar ultra reverse bulbs and they are without a doubt brighter than the 360 leds, but the color is still the disgusting yellowish white. Sadly i stayed with looks over performance, but i decided to buy the putco neutron leds. i got a pair for $50.00, pricey but the look is astonishing. I just threw them on last night and here is a pic of the neutron(~$50) vs. 360 degree led(~$20) (both by putco)
neutron is the left 360 led is on the right...

The light difference is very noticeable I am satisfied. I will update this thread when I get to reverse at night for the first time.

yeah i have a nice tint on them with the VHT nightshade i was thinking of sanding them down and doing it over but leaving the reverse lens clear
this is what they look like right now... its a nice smoked apple look i think

they are the white neutron led's
But hey of course i find this out right after i bought these but check out Patmans thread for HID reverse. looks sick!

so are the Silverstars still brighter than the neutrons? or do the neutrons work the best? I'm not really concerned about color, just brightness.

no! The neutron leds are in fact brighter than the silverstars
