I had previously posted pictures with a 3.5" Rough Country lift and some Black Rhino wheels and 32" Nito tires on my 2011 short bed, standard cab Silverado. It wasn't beefy enough for me and I regretted not going with all black rims so, took all that off and had a 6" Fabtech lift installed with new 20" Raptor wheels and 35" Open Country / Toyo tires. Since the last picts I also installed a Magnaflow dual exhaust system and a new amp + subwoofer. Next up, cold air intake and a computer. Any recommendations on either?

Truck looks great...you definitely got the aggressive look you were trying for. Congrats on getting the additional mods installed as well. It sounds like you're having fun.

I currently have an AFE and like it but if I had to do all over again, I'd probably go with a Volant. I've read some really good things about them plus I think they look awesome installed. However, I think that most will come back with K&N, as they are awesome and have a great reputation. If you are referring to a programmer (you wrote "computer"), I'd suggest either the Diablo Predator or Trinity.

Thanks for the tips. Yes, meant "programmer". I'll look into the Diablo. Yeah, definitely having some fun. Wanted a truck like this since before I could drive and finally able to afford some of the mods. Well, my wife wouldn't tell you that because she wants new curtains but you all get where I'm at ;-)

Anyone ever use or read any feedback on the Bully Dog Triple Dog tuner?

It's a couple hundred less than the Trinity.

There are a ton of threads and opinions on programmers. I'm not familiar with Bully, but while you are waiting for responses, enter the key words "bully" and "programmer" in the search box and you will see that dozens of threads come up. You should find some pretty good info by reading the debates/opinions that are found there.

Get the Trinty over the Bully. I think the Trinty and Preditors tunes are better. You can data log with the Diablo's and then get a custom tune via e-mail from a tuner like DiabLew.com. He does R&D for Diablo and does custom tunes on the side. Theres a number of guys on this site that have his tune and they are very happy with his tunes.
