Replaced the front diff. Now can't get the Driver side CV axle to go in. Wondering if the cross over shaft has to be installed back in from the passenger side first????

Hi, I owned one, never had the CV shaft out.
I would think as long as the splines line up the shaft should slide in.
I can't see what difference the passenger side would make.
Do you have the front driveshaft in place?
I might let that wait until the CVs are in, gives you a chance to turn the diff you you need to.

Note to guys reading this and wondering about a cross over shaft, the 4.3 has a hole in the oil pan for the right front axle shaft, the diff case is bolted to the left side of the pan.

Yup tried turning the shaft everything is dropped out of the way I'm totally stuck on this one. It fits into the Actuator from the passenger side. (Which is also removed) so the bearing and shaft are correct sizes.
