I think that GM needs to get their heads out of their butts and start building cars that people want. Unfortunately for GM, their release of the new Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade trucks on the GMT900 platform hits just as gas prices are starting to go crazy, and other than the new fullsize suv's, what do they have to offer? As much as I hate to say it, they need to take some cues from Daimler Chrysler and put a couple of rear/all wheel drive vehicles on the market. Now don't get me wrong, I like Chevy trucks, but if the new midsize suv is gonna look like the Colorado, I think that GM is going to have major issues with profitability in the coming years. You can't force fwd cars down the buying public's throat, if you've only got one product to offer, well... It didn't work for Chrysler in the 80's, and I don't expect it'll work now either.
