Hello all,

We are looking for images for the new site's banner, please submit them below for consideration.

Make sure it is a high-resolution image, unobstructed background, doors and windows closed, no drivers or humans in the shot.

Thanks in advance.

Just a thought. Maybe a blended pic of and old Chevy, and a new Chevy next to each other. That way people will know that we cover all years of GMs. Maybe something like my truck at am angle with a newer truck at an oposite angle, kind of facing each other. Just a thought.

Here are some GMT 800 examples to go with Kenny and his GMT 400. We really need a collage inclusive of the many great GM truck experiences over their history IMHO.

Hello all,

There has been a delay and we have bumped the migration date to TBD.

We will update you all once we have another date open on the migration schedule.

Keep the images coming so it will give us more to work with when the date is ready.

The weather has been bad. I still want to get to the Chevy dealer, and get a pic of my 97 next to a 2020. Maybe I can get it done tomorrow.

Why not a banner that rotates through a dozen or more examples with each new page opened? I think GMT400.com does something like this.

I wanted to make a photo that was split between old and new trucks, But I just dont have the soft ware to do it. I tried to get to the Chevy dealer today, but the traffic was so bad I just turned around. Also Beachburb has a point about rotating pics on GMT400.com That is how there banner is. So here are some of the pic I have been working with.

And site crew, don’t forget: we all still need/want GMTC stickers to put on our trucks! These seems like the perfect time to add this to the upgrades for the forum list. The season for giving, is just around the corner ;)

It was a women owned, ranch breed, totally rust free excellent example of what GM could do, when allowed to. It has been my honor to put her back in her original condition when sold @ Mustang Chevrolet, San Antonio Texas 1988. It took me a few years, a lot of effort, some blood, but worth it. I hope you enjoy it.
There you go JT.

Here is another idea. Use members trucks, that are nice looking trucks. There are several of us in here that have a lot if work in our trucks. Do this on a rotating banner. Just a thought.

Well I think my other truck might fit in, It's a 1990 Chevy Silverado long Bed and standard Cab. I bought it in 2010 and It too got the body off, new body mounts and a trip in the Body shop for a month and then to the Garage, Everything underneath save for the axles was swapped out for new. The entire suspension front to rear was replaced. It got a 'Jasper' remanufactured 305, rebuilt 700/4 transmission & a posi differential. To me, it's my daily driver, but it is my most trusted truck. Get $500 bucks, a gas card and CC and I have no fear of a doubt of seeing California in 3 days driving. Again, a GM Flint mastercraft.
