My name is Justin and I recently moved to the Las Vegas area. My first ever vehicle was a 1992 GMC Sonoma. Currently, I am truckless.

Our family is looking to expand and we are planning to purchase a Suburban/Yukon XL in the very near future to accommodate.

Does anyone know when they started making captains chairs available in the second row? Our budget right now is somewhat small and my wife really wants bucket seats in the second row. Was this an option in the mid to late 90s version of the Suburban?

It's official. We purchased a 2001 Suburban LT 1500 with 109k miles last night. We ended up going with the bench seat in the middle row. Maybe someday we'll swap the bench for captain's chairs.
