I read that the 2010 Hummer H3 will stop using the Inline 5 and replace it with GM's 3.6 Direct injection V6 which I beleave has 300 hp,and also use a 6spd auto trans. The same article said that GM will stop making the inline 5.The journalist called the 5 a much unloved motor, that statement only enhances my opinion that journalist are bootlicking pundints that don't know what thier talking about. I own one does he?Everyone I know that has one likes it.But to get back to the original subject, if the H3 gets the 3.6 V6 that must mean the 2010 Colorado gets it also. Any insiders out there willing to comment?

Personally I love my inline 5 in my truck... I would prefer it over a V6 anyday. I really hope that they aren't going to change it because the H3 will change.

But I did a little research and the articles vary as to whats in store for the colorado in the future. For example, in 08 we were suppose to have the V8 for the colorados but that was delayed until 2009. Meanwhile the Hummer H3 carries it in their 2008 models. So IMO I don't think that the Colorado's will follow in the Hummer H3 foot steps 100%, there is a good chance that they may continue with the iine 5...But I guess we will have to wait and see.
