Soooo I ordered an aftermarket color matched front bumper and end caps for my ‘08 Silverado 1500, and whole I was installing them, I was careless and few of the little mounting tabs that secure the end cap broke broke off. There are still a couple on either side, and I rigged some zip ties up to keep them in place temporarily. It looks like absolute **** right now. I need some advice on the best course of action that I should take in order to keep them permanently secured in place. I was thinking using silicon or caulk or some sort of adhesive to secure it to the metal part underneath that it is seated on. If that is not a good idea then I was thinking about drilling a small hole in it and bolting it on. I was hoping someone would know if there is a special type of mounting clip or something that will secure it in place. Thoughts?

I would get some good quality epoxy and glue new tabs in place or a body shop could possibly guide you.
