No Spark No Fuel
Hey all have a question:
Got a 01 silverado with a 5.3 that the fuel pump is dead and is not getting spark either. Also the fuel gauge does not work. No power at all to the plug, or the relay. Also not getting spark. I hooked up my scanner and read some DTC's and it came back with numerous fault codes with no power to PCM or loss of communication with PCM.
So is this in any way part of the security system being active? I do not have a key FOB I just have the key. Or is the PCM shot? Or somehow a bad relay? I checked all the fuses all were good. I forgot to write down the DTC numbers today but I will tomorrow if I have to. Also I checked all the chassis grounds all looked good.
