Good morning,
I have a 96 k1500. Owned it about a year know but just started driving it this winter. Engine was replaced before I bought it.
The issue is yesterday I took it for a spin. Nothing peculiar. Came home tired to go out later. No start. Everything came on in the inside. But when I turn the ignition to no click no turn. But the clock flicked off when I turned the switch. Also I checked the oil this morning it was very low. Any suggestions? Thanks guys.

You might want to start be making sure that your battery is charged. The clock on the radio shuts off in the start position. If it resets to 12 then you know you have a battery issue

With my 2K OBS truck, I used to have issues with the "piggy back" + battery terminal not staying tight.
Occasionally I would turn the key and everything would just go black dead. Opened the hood, twisted the terminal just a wee bit and it would fire right up.
I ended up removing the plastic covering from around the cable terminals, got it all clean, put it together and never had another issue with it again.
