02 Silverado Noise behind dashboard?

I posted a couple days ago about a noise i heard when my truck shifts. Thought it was in my tranny but almost positive it's behind my dashboard. Is there anything back there like a relay or something electrical related to when the truck shifts. It sound electronic not mechanical on every gear just during the shift and only for about the first minute i drive then goes away. I have a trans temp gauge but don't think that has anything to do with it. No one seems to know what this might be. 02 silverado 1500 5.3 4wd 4l60e trans.
No codes, no check engine lights and truck shifts completely fine.

Maybe something computer related?

Is it possible that this could be a vibration from outside the firewall & just sounds like it's in the dash?

My first thought is a cracked or loose flex plate.

What is the flex plate ?

Most commonly refered to as the flywheel, but an automatic does not have a fly wheel, it has a flex plate with a ring gear. Sorry for the confusion.

I have a noise behind my dash to. Me and my wife refer to it as the little man behind the dash. Its just a little knocking noise. I think it has something to do with the a/c on mine, although sometimes it seems like the little guy has buddies. Surprising enough it does have a rythm. I know you guys might laugh but I'm not joking. I think there is a little man back there.

Regarding the A/C noise.

My new truck has a noise "rattle" when A/C is on. Took it to dealer, service manager said its the air deflector in the A/C system that rattles. GM has a Tech bulletin on it, but no fix yet. He said i would be notified once issue is resolved by GM, but not to hold my breath, its been an issues since 09.
