I am new to this site. i have had my 04 silverado short bed reg cab 4x4 since november and it has been fine, but today i noticed when i turn left i hear a kind of thumping noise only when i turn left tho, plus i think im hearing a sqealing on the pass side. i have been reading post by other people and it seems it is the intermediate steering shaft. my question is, if thats the case is it ok to drive the truck till i get it fixed? and do u think the squealing is a wheel bearing , i just had the brakes done a month ago. could the 2 noises be connected? the truck has 96000 miles. any help would be appreciated thanks
