Hey everyone i finally got around to ordering a HID kit after some looking around on the internet at reviews and price's i paid $100 for this kit and pulled the trigger to get these! I didn't know until today that HID's are pretty much too bright when not used in a projector headlight because the reflector's scatter the light everywhere blinding people and possibly getting pulled over by police for the lights. I had some Xenon halogen bulb's on my factory headlights and they were okay coulda been better. Hopefully they will arrive sometime next week and i will post pic's when i get them on! Also i don't see the point of wasting money like some people do when buyin hid's they also buy high beam's i will prob not be using my high beam's since my headlights will project allot more light so i'll save me an extra $100 bucks lol. I also pulled the trigger and bought some N-Fab black cab length nerf steps so hopefully will have both installed next week if anyone has this setup of lights let me know how they are!! Thanks, Jake

Ya I generally get the "bird" once a week with my HID's.....as soon as I get the HID's for my projectors I am guessing that will go away. I have HID's on my fogs but they are low enough to not be a problem with light scatter.

Yeah from what i've heard the HID Kits are way better in the Projector's compared to the stock one's on the truck or car's because all the reflector's and you blind allot of people lol because they are just scattered out compared to the projector hid kit. The projector's they will still be bright but the most important thing is you can AIM them down more of whichever so you want blind people and also give you better visibility on the road too. The emailed me and said they will be shipping them out tuesday so hopefully will have them installed by end of week depending on the shipping days.

Nice! Let me know how you like the HID's in the projectors. Projectors are my next purchase and I have heard the head from the HID's can melt the projector housing if they were not made for HID's. Also a tip...glue the plastic end caps on the back of the N-Fabs. I lost one of my on the road somewhere and have noticed rust inside of the N-Fab pipe. I have e-mailed N-Fab to try to purchase a new cap, but I cannot get them to respond.

Thanks man i apreaciate it on the extra info i'll make sure i do that bud! About how long did it take with 2 people to install them like 30 minutes? I heard they are really easy to install from allot of other's you have to do drilling which isn't good? I don't think these projector's will melt because you could buy the hid kit along with them when you buy the projector's so hopefully it doesn't mess them up! If they do i'll just send them in and get a new pair from carid.com since i had to replace a set before because the outer seal on the headlights weren't sealed and water leaked in! I also have to send back my third brake light for same reason and they will send me a new one free! I wouldn't recommened buying from them because of that but they do give you another set for free cause there warranty!

Well that's a good thing but i'm pretty sure they are gonna be bright as hell though compared to my stock projecotor's! I will hopefully have no problems being too bright or being blue i got the 10,000k hid kit and that's the low beams! The high beam's are gonna be 15,000k so they will be the most blue they 10,000k i heard are a good blue but not too blue kinda have a white mixed in with them but will see for sure by next week! I also plan on buying a set of Angel eye halo light's for my bull bar then buying the hid kit for them and set it up to match my headlight's would look sick i've never seen it done like that before! The N-Fab Black cab length nerf steps will be installed tomorrow since they came in late afternoon and i will take pic's to show the differrence!!!

okay, well maybe the notto hid are different from the regular scale they use to K on lights, hope it all turns out the best and what u wanted... but did u just by the HID kit to plug and play using the factory headlight assembly or ur using ur projector assembly?
my .02 cents check out vvme.com i got my hid from there and they are cheap and they are good, me and my friend get em from there

You are absolutely right, using the Kelvin scale the higher the number the less useable light there is. A 10,000k light will look very blue but not have much light output, 15,000k lights will look purple and have almost no useable light. A good example would be a black light, it has a color temperature of about 12,000k and almost no useable light.

I was debating on buying some or not because i did't know which bulb's to buy but the H11 are my low beam bulb's for my Projector headlights and i forgot which was my high beam's but i have to buy them in pair's they don't have highs and low's as a kit for projector's on there siite. I paid $100 for the low's and will pay another $100 for my high's but i will be gettin the 15,000k for them. I found a cheap pair of driving light's for my Bull bar to mount there only like $80 buck's. They are the Halo Angel eye one's which will match my headlights. I will try to look around to buy a hid kit for them so they will match the color as my headlights so Basically will only pay around $200 bucks but most driving lights are more for a set! I will go this route since i've never seen it done where i live at and it should look sick!

I really don't know if they are gonna plug into my factory headlight assembly but the projector's were made for my truck and were a basic plug and play also and uses the same h11 bulbs as my factory did. I know for a fact that i want have to change bulb's or anything so it should be just a plug and play i assume. I paid $100 for my 10,000k low beams so it's really not too bad for a name brand!
